Assets on Blockchain (AOB or the “conference”) is a private, Application-Only discussion and networking conference featuring leading blockchain, regulatory, finance, and investment experts on the future of asset tokenization and real world assets (RWA) on blockchain. AOB aims to chart the course of the next financial revolution by bringing together the best in both TradFi and DeFi and providing a collaborative environment to discuss and develop ideas that will shape the next generation. 3. What is the information that we will collect from the attendees and the speakers?
  • 3.1. Information collected from the attendees
    • a. Application information: When you apply to attend the conference, we shall collect your full name, email address, contact number, organization name, organization address, organization website (URL), category of attendees to which you belong (family office, endowment, pension fund, foundation, UHNWI, other), role (Optional), LinkedIn Profile URL and any additional information necessary for us to plan the event and for communication.
    • b. Payment information: If applicable, we may collect the details necessary for accepting your payment. This can include your bank account details or your card details.
  • 3.2. Information collected from speakers / presenters or moderators
    • a. Speaker’s / Presenter’s / Moderator’s personal information: When you apply to speak at the conference or when we invite you, we may collect your full name, email address, contact number, organization name, organization address, organization website (URL), sector of business or otherwise to which you belong (venture capital, private equity, asset management, banking & financial services, blockchain & cryptocurrency, consulting & advisory, regulatory & legal, political figure, other), role (Optional), LinkedIn Profile URL, current resume, photograph(s) and any additional information necessary for us to plan your involvement in the conference.
  • 3.3. Information collected from attendees as well as speakers, presenters or moderators
    • a. Communication related information: We may collect information related to our communication with you including emails, messages and any comments or feedback that you may provide to us.
    • b. Technical information: When you interact with the website, our website and connected technologies may automatically collect certain information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system and usage patterns.
4. How will we use the information collected from you?

We may use the information collected from you for the following purposes: 

  • 4.1. To analyze your application for attendance or to speak and to decide if you can be admitted as an attendee or speaker;
  • 4.2. To arrange for your registration if you are selected, and to manage the attendance at the conference;

  • 4.4. If you are a speaker or presenter we may use your information including your profile details, photograph and other pertinent information to promote your involvement in the conference;

5. Who shall we share / disclose your information with?
  • 5.1. Third-party service providers involved in the conference: We may share your information with third-party service providers who are involved in organizing the conference, sending communications and providing other related services.

You are free to receive and use the information received during the conference, but you must not disclose the identity or the affiliation of the speaker, presenter or moderator or any other attendee. This means that you can discuss what transpired during the conference, but you must not attribute any statement to any speaker, presenter, moderator or attendee.
7. Where will we store your data and what are the safeguards that we will use?

We will store your information on Google servers and only our employees, consultants or team members who are involved in organizing the conference will have access to it. We will retain your information as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. 

8. What are your rights related to your own information?
You have the right to access and correct any information we hold about you. You can opt-out of receiving any promotional communications from us by either unsubscribing as per instructions in such communication or by contacting us on privacy@aobconference.com
